Marek Lasota
Founder
I started my career at CapGemini in Germany as Java, JEE developer from where I moved on to IBM to work directly with clients on development of new projects. This included work ranging from architectural design and review, development support, help in resolving critical situations to troubleshooting complex software problems and technical mentoring.
In 2011 I left IBM to continue supporting clients as independent consultant and in 2019 founded Albatros Technologies to help clients grow their business by adopting latest innovations around automation, DevOps and cloud computing.

Founder
My professional career started with mainframes (AS/400), and followed by Java and JEE technologies. I joined IBM in 2007 as a consultant in IBM Software Services for Websphere, where I focuses on deploying business process management, enterprise application integration, and application server infrastructure in clients’ projects.
In 2012, I became independent consultant and continue working with customers in EU. I cofounded Albatros Technologies to help customer implement digital transformation in IT departments.

Principal Engineer
I am a Solutions Engineer specializing in Observability, Cloud Service Management and SRE. Prior to joining Albatros Technologies in 2021, I worked at IBM for nearly 15 years undertaking various technical roles in IBM worldwide organizations like Lab Services, Advanced Technology Group, IBM Garage, and Customer Success Management. I am an open source enthusiast and contributor.
Here at Albatros Technologies, I help customers to modernize, automate and manage their infrastructure and applications, as well as adopt modern cloud and devops practices.
